This is the early half of the Eslabong Early Access patch record, kept separate so the main patch tracker stays focused on the current build. Everything below comes from the official Steam announcements, unchanged — 0.32.1 (August 28) through 0.41.8 (September 13, 2026).

Two things to remember when reading it: the newest class named here is Railcaster (0.41.1), and the 0.33.11 rename of Attack to Power means any earlier stat table using “Attack” is describing the same value under its old name. For the current state of the game, use the main tracker; for a specific old patch, search this page for its version number.

0.32.1 — Academy Rework (August 28)

The largest change of the series:

  • Academy rework: a 3v3 league with manual team selection, playable matches that no longer advance the week, unique formations, and a new Development Tome economy.
  • Development Tome: a new currency that boosts a low-level fighter to your average level—once or twice per season, only on low levels. Earned by playing/autobattling Academy matches and by the weekly objective.
  • Six divisions: a new Division pyramid with updated progression, cups, market and save compatibility.
  • Season ending: full roster review with season statistics and individual XP rewards.
  • Fighter Form: variable Form loss (like injuries) and a new Restore Form window.
  • Market and combat fixes plus rebindable F1–F4 tactics, formations in match pickers, and post-battle autosaving that reduces late-game stutter.
  • Season-end roster XP now reaches AI-controlled teams too.

0.33.1 — Advanced Tactics & QoL (August 28)

  • New Advanced tactics: AOE Efficiency (Natural / Requires 2 / Requires 3) and Friendly Fire (Natural / Avoid / Calculated / They Will Dodge). Each personality has a different default — Reckless uses They Will Dodge, Cautious uses Avoid — and a specific tactic setting always overrides personality.
  • Weekly Academy objectives now reward 2 Development Tomes instead of 1.
  • Spending Tomes lets you pick every Milestone instead of auto-picking.
  • 5 rotating autosaves to prevent lost progress.
  • Codex unlocks are now permanent and the Infernus achievement works retroactively.
  • 1v1 Sudden Death starts after 60 seconds. Almighty Sanctuary regen 5% → 4%.

0.33.2 + 0.33.3 — Resurrection Diminishing Returns (August 28)

  • Resurrection skills now have diminishing returns per battle when repeatedly resurrecting the same fighter: 100% / 65% / 42.25% / 35% minimum (affects both restored HP and post-revive invulnerability).
  • Improved Teamwork and Tight Formation: fighters maintain team structure without getting stuck behind allies.
  • Tactician and Cautious personalities no longer cast spells by default unless the player sets the tactic manually.
  • General AI melee/ranged fixes and a 1v1 StateIdle fix.

0.33.4 + 0.33.5 — AI & Tactics Defaults (August 28)

  • Development tomes apply milestones correctly.
  • AI teams can use Tight formation again.
  • Fighters no longer default to AOE +3 tactics; the default is now Anyone (the “natural” option was removed).
  • Fixed ranged AI getting stuck at arena walls, Whirlwind pursuing dead targets, Rebirth rewards, and the Academy panel overflow.

0.33.6 — Gold, Relics & Challenge Tower (August 29)

  • Better Gold progression and rebalanced chest rewards. Relic and Champion prices readjusted — common relics are much more accessible.
  • First version of the Challenge Tower watcher.
  • Balance nerfs: Black Mass, Golden Multishot, Reaver damage, Resurrection skill cooldowns.
  • Respecing, Rebirth and Ability Evolution bugs fixed.
  • Roster pickers gained Relics and Formation buttons; XP fixed for Academy matches.

0.33.7 — Big Class Balance Pass (August 29)

Melee HP is up 15% overall; note Rogue Assassin gets +10% on top of that (since it is a melee). Other verified changes:

0.33.10 — Tactics & Nicole’s Talisman (August 29)

  • New tactic: target priority for Melee DPS.
  • Roster drag/drop between Active and Reserves fixed.
  • 1v1 tournament captain selection, health bars and club names fixed.
  • Nicole’s Talisman (Legendary relic): revive HP 50%→35%, DEF reduction -15%→-30%.
  • Ember Sparks range/AI fixed; unique tag colors for all Champions; Linux characters fixed.

0.33.11 — Attack Is Now Power (August 30)

  • “Attack” is renamed to “Power” across the UI — 16 relics updated and all eight languages use Power/PWR consistently.
  • Fixed the player team receiving fewer offers than expected.
  • Fixed Melee DPS failing to return to healers after engaging blockers.
  • Improved Target Healer priority for actual healers.

0.35.1 — Rockscar and Chaos Thunder (August 31)

Official new content, not a rumor:

  • New class: Rockscar. 0.36.1 later raised its base PWR from 70 to 90 and movement speed from 130 to 135. Block is no longer guaranteed (~60% chance) and the Block upgrade now grants stamina reduction.
  • New Chaos Thunder formats: 2+2 vs 2+2 and extra match shapes. Treat older “always 5v5” advice as stale.

0.35.2–0.35.6 — Cups, Draft, relics (August 31–September 1)

Official QoL that changes how you save lineups:

  • Persistent Cup Lineups (squad, formation, tactics, captain, control mode per competition).
  • Treasure House levels 6–7, relic capacity 50–55.
  • Draft Mode: captain selection, randomized turn order for all eight clubs, per-fighter opening-move duration 1–5 seconds.
  • Draft Cup can change each fighter’s tactics before quarterfinals / semis / finals.
  • Lina’s Gem now also reduces max HP and DEF by 20% (on top of Resurrection / mana).
  • Infernus Threat rebalanced later in 0.36.1 (see below).

0.36.1 — Ranked class limits and class balance (September 1)

This is the patch that invalidates “just stack one class” Challenge Tower advice.

Ranked / Challenge Tower

  • Teams are limited to one regular fighter per class plus one Champion. Champions do not consume a regular class slot.
  • Ineligible teams keep Elo, records, likes, stats and history. They become eligible again after submitting a valid composition.
  • Ranked Exhibition lets ineligible teams practice without touching progression, rewards or statistics.

Balance (official numbers)

  • Offensive PWR above 600 now keeps 50% efficiency instead of 75% (about −10% to −15% damage at those levels).
  • Extra external healers/shielders within four seconds operate at 50%; the first stays at 100%. Self-heal and lifesteal unchanged.
  • Heavy frontliners: +30% cooldown on true mobility. Native mobility classes are unaffected.
  • Spellblade Demon Form, Lightning Mage burst tools, Almighty Sanctuary (4% → 3% max HP/s), Dynamite Axe (85 → 68) and several Apocalypse / Meteor tools were reduced.
  • Buffs: Goblin Archer HP 110→125 and PWR 110→120; Lightning Mage / Reaper Mage PWR 110→120; Wind Twister PWR 100→110.

Autobattle

  • Captain bonuses now scale from 40% on Relaxed to 5% on Infernus and never affect PvP.
  • AI formations, tactics, adaptation and Market usage scale with difficulty.
  • Infernus threat 5% → 3%, and it is not included in 1v1 or small matches/tournaments.

0.40.1 — Two new classes, Shiny, Custom Match (September 4)

This is the first weekly content patch after the launch-week firehose. Official notes also say future balance/content patches are weekly, with a Beta branch for testing, and that saves were not wiped.

New

  • Custom Match on the main menu: up to 5v5, levels 1–100, arena pick, random teams, local co-op/versus.
  • Warlock: curse summoner; meteor delivers Oxibroxi.
  • Timesworn: melee bruiser who delays damage and clears that debt by attacking.
  • Shiny fighters: holographic card, 1/5000, +20–40% base stats, guaranteed Excellent affinity, higher Market value.
  • Named Leaders: from Season 5 for 25,000 Renown + 500,000 Gold. One per roster. No trading. No Challenge Tower.
  • 24 new Relics (16 Common, 4 Rare, 4 Legendary). Blink Ring replaces Dash with Blink. Duplicate relics are allowed. Each legendary has unique battle VFX.
  • Cross-division relic trading plus copy limits: unlimited Common, 10 Rare, 3 Legendary; two Legendary relics equipped per club in that note (0.40 later raised active legendaries to 5 — see below).

Gameplay (official numbers only)

  • Reaper damage increased (no number given).
  • Bullbreaker: HP 380→350, damage 10→9.
  • Silence still allows basics/dashes. Lina Gem no longer grants DEF.
  • Class Codex descriptions rewritten for all 48 classes.

Custom Match QoL + legendary cap 5 (September 4)

Same-day follow-up: Custom Match right-click remove and hover selection. Max active legendary relics 2→5.

0.40.2 — Load times, Warlock relic, Challenge Tower timeouts (September 4)

  • Faster campaign-hub loading after battles.
  • Throne of Bones can be equipped by Warlocks.
  • Challenge Tower timeout fixes.
  • Shiny text, keyboard binds for local Player 2.

A separate load-campaign hotfix the same day fixed a crash with a large number of save files.

0.40.3 — Relic inventory and personality bonuses (September 4)

  • Higher base Relic inventory and upgrades.
  • Fighter abilities/stats when buying from another division fixed.
  • Backup autosaves capped at 50.
  • Timesworn pricing imbalance fixed.
  • Small stat battle bonuses per personality.

0.40.4 — Snake Draft and AI casts (September 5)

  • Draft mode Snake Draft.
  • Champion offers across divisions fixed.
  • Timesworn, Firemage, Lancero and Warlock AI casting fixed.
  • Berserker idle-while-flanking and round-start flashes fixed.

0.40.5 — Roster cap 50 (September 5)

To make shiny / top-fighter hunting easier, HQ roster upgrades now go further:

StepRoster size
Start20
Upgrades25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50
Gold cost5,000 / 12,500 / 30,000 / 75,000 / 200,000 / 500,000

Old max was 35. Relic market shows more Rares and Legendaries. Relic Optimize button improved.

0.40.7 — Unranked Tower PvP and weekly scout (September 7)

This is the first 0.40 drop that changes how you queue, not just roster size. Official notes only:

  • Automatic Weekly Scout: 2,000 gold each week, automatically adds new scouted fighters of the chosen class.
  • Unranked Tower Matches: search unranked PvP by average level and season.
  • Skill rarity rates: 55% Common / 30% Uncommon / 13.5% Rare / 1.5% Legendary, with legendary pity.
  • Week 7 free Draft is 4v4 with snake-order picks.
  • Saved roster presets 3→5.
  • Active lineups can equip five Legendary Relics, without changing bench loadouts.
  • Custom Battle fully restores rosters, fighters, levels, and captains afterward.
  • Projectile-blocking spells (Fire Barrier, Blade Defense, Righteous Ward, Shieldwall) now have projectile limits.
  • Several healing, buff, and DoT effects apply a proportional final tick when they expire.
  • Taunt interrupts channels. Pulse Field cancels when no targets remain.

The same post lists UI, AI, and localization work. It also says new classes, relics, and a chaotic larger-battle mode are coming in a few days — not shipped in 0.40.7.

0.40.8 — Unranked matchmaking and Rookie Development Cup (September 7)

Superseded by 0.41.3, but the changes below still stand.

  • Unranked matches now use average power when no teams with a similar average level are available.
  • Newbie Tournament renamed Rookie Development Cup. Official reason: it is a late-game tournament for leveling new recruits. Cost 3,000→2,000 Gold, no injuries, 600 XP per registered fighter including reserves, plus combat XP. The UI now shows costs, XP, level-ups, and unlocks.
  • Fighter personality, growth, injury risk, and tendencies are visible across Market, Watchlist, Team Details, and Codex.
  • Relic sorting groups by rarity and relic type, then roll quality.
  • Alpha’s Collar summon relic significantly improved (no extra numbers given).
  • Draft Mode keeps positions, orders, durations, and formation presets between sets and opponents. Closing the editor with Escape also saves.
  • AI searches around an invisible enemy’s last known position after Vanish and may attempt blind projectile attacks.
  • Angelitus and Hierophant pathing, defensive combos, healing priority, and multi-target Chain Heal improved.
  • Crossbowmen no longer stop just outside firing range in autobattle 1v1.

0.41.1 — Railcaster, Active Relics and local co-op (September 9)

The biggest content drop since 0.40.1.

New

  • New class: Railcaster.
  • GeForce NOW availability.
  • Local co-op now supports multiple independent keyboards and mice, including Steam Remote Play Together (flagged as beta).
  • About 20 new relics, plus Active Relics — these may replace a skill or grant a new active ability. Active Rare/Legendary relics have base values of 2,000 / 6,500. The note even suggests intentionally broken builds, such as a fire mage with a meat-hook relic.

Shinies

  • Shiny fighters now have special VFX and are distinguishable on the fighter card sprite.
  • Each shiny can have more than 10 variants (Shiny fire, Shiny ice, etc.), each with its own special effect.
  • Old shinies are migrated automatically — no need to restart or re-find them.
  • Shinies can now get double excellent growth.

Systems

  • Saved Tactics expanded from 3 → 10 slots, plus 10 new Shiny auras.
  • External Union Contracts: retired fighters leave the league but keep their history; AI clubs may retire long-unsold reserves.
  • Legendary ability rolls increased; new monk and voidfist legendary abilities.
  • Friendly-fire breakdowns by ability, percentage and summons.
  • 10 Season Objectives added.
  • New campaign starts: Stormcallers, The Wild Hunt and The Holy Order.
  • Draft Mode now protects Champion rewards, prevents duplicates and guarantees six final options.
  • Co-op scaling: enemy HP/damage scale by player count — +12%/+5% with 2, +24%/+10% with 3, +36%/+15% with 4. Solo and PvP unchanged.
  • A Steam Deck portable Market layout was added.

Balance

  • SPD keeps 50% movement scaling after its soft cap and reaches up to 40% cooldown reduction.
  • Orc Shaman: Wave cast 1.7 → 1.2s, Spirit Shield 40 → 50, Hex adds +10% damage taken.
  • Nine class ability pools expanded. Only Hierophant, Swordmaster and Archmage retain Renown/Season requirements; other normal classes can be hired from the start.
  • From Season 5, when a player reaches Division 1 or 2, eligible top-division clubs recruit Named Leaders from Divisions 3–6.

0.41.2 + 0.41.3 — Railcaster buffs and co-op fixes (September 9)

  • Automated Weekly Scout now costs 2,000 gold and auto-adds scouted fighters of the chosen class (introduced in 0.40.7, unchanged here).
  • Railcaster spells got improved hitboxes, and rail ability damage +15% with starting Attack 100 → 110.
  • Ice Mage is now counted as Ranged DPS for targeting purposes.
  • Rival teams’ average roster size increased in later seasons.
  • Fixed not being able to choose two captains in All-Stars co-op battles, fighter-card text centering, new relic tooltips, Propose-trade messages and Orc Berserker SFX volume.

0.41.5–0.41.8 — Shiny PvP rules, Challenge Tower, champion signings (September 12–13)

Four small patches landed in two days. The one that changes how you play is 0.41.8.

0.41.8 (September 13) — Shiny bonuses no longer apply in PvP

  • Shiny fighters keep their appearance, growth affinities and upgrades, but their extra stat bonus is removed inside Challenge Tower PvP. This is a balance change, not a removal: you can still field Shinies.
  • Campaign stats are unchanged — the adjustment is PvP-only.
  • QoL: you can now mark a fighter as non-negotiable, which stops incoming trade offers. Useful if you were getting spammed for your top fighters.

That also settles a long-running player question: Shinies were never supposed to be a straight stat upgrade in competitive play.

0.41.7 (September 12) — improved Challenge Tower guard behaviour and reporting.

0.41.6 (September 12) — small hotfix

  • Fixed firing AoE projectiles near arena walls.
  • Buffed Terminal Velocity and the full-charge Overrail.
  • Fixed Draft Mode ability slots not saving.

0.41.5 (September 12) — additions, balance and AI

  • “No Additional Champion Signings” campaign option: keeps your starting Champion but blocks further Champion purchases, auctions, offers and trades. Aimed at players who do not want Champions at all.
  • 8 new Shiny variants — 20 styles total. The developer states explicitly that Shiny type does not affect gameplay or stats (a Fire Shiny is the same as an Ice Shiny), which kills the “element matters” rumour.
  • HQ Levels 8 and 9, raising maximum roster size to 55 and 60 (up from 50 set in 0.40.5).
  • Added missing ability evolutions for Mass Mend, Spearfisher, Icewind Jump, Banana Peel, The One’s Mine and Void Singularity, plus Furnace Cleave for Pepo the Furnace.
  • Balance: Coil Spark damage 18 → 22, Overrail 42 → 45, Vow of Mercy now +25% healing and +10% shielding, Tri Focus Beam damage per tick 12 → 10.
  • Swordmasters, Archmages and Hierophants now take a 20% penalty to resale value.
  • A new content patch is announced for the following week — new class, new relics and a new tournament mode. That is a roadmap statement, not live content.

0.41.4 does not appear as a separate announcement in the official feed, so this tracker makes no claims about it.
