Eslabong Patch Notes: Early Access Tracker (0.50-0.81.3)
Verified Eslabong patch notes from 0.50 to 0.81.3: the Hellforged class, Hall of Legends Tier II, the 8v8 League, Season Modifiers, the two-revive resurrection limit and 19 new champions, with earlier patches in the archive.
Last Verified: 2026-10-19
Eslabong shipped its first ten patches in the week after Early Access (release August 24, 2026), then larger content drops through September and October. The current official build as of October 19, 2026 is 0.81.3 (October 17) — an Infernus Threat rebalance and a Chaos Thunder fix — followed the same day by two more patches covering injuries, form loss, a Time Chamber personality change and save backup/restore. The big content patch remains 0.80.1 (October 16), the one that added the Hellforged class, Hall of Legends Tier II and the 8v8 League. Patches now ship roughly weekly, with fixes released as needed.
Nothing below is invented: every line comes from the official Steam announcements. Patch notes describe the developer’s stated intent at the patch date — a later patch can change the same values again, which is why each change is labelled with its version.
Patches 0.32.1 through 0.41.8 (August 28 – September 13, 2026) are kept in the Eslabong patch archive so this page stays readable. Use the archive when you need an old version number; use the summary below for the current build.

0.50.x — the Mirage class, character customization and a week of follow-ups (September 15–17)
Eslabong jumped from 0.41 straight to 0.50 with its biggest content patch since launch, then shipped eight follow-up patches in three days. If you are returning after a break, this is the section to read.
0.50.1 (September 15) — the content patch
- New class: Mirage, a duelist built around anchors, blinks and afterimages.
- Character customization was added. Open it from the Context/Actions menu, or right-click from the Roster tab. Male/female selection is still coming in the next few weeks, but the current options are extensive.
- The Overview and Roster panels were reworked around your next match and lineup readiness.
- A major VFX pass across many class abilities, aimed at making cast, impact, status and expiration readable. Combat values did not change.
- Rebirth can now reroll Growth Style — Champions on their first Rebirth, regular fighters from their second.
- Fighter Loans were added to the Market. You can loan inactive fighters to other teams in exchange for Gold and training. Loaned fighters cannot be used in Tower attacks, defences or exhibitions, and validation tells you which fighter must be removed. Fighters you list for loan remain usable.
- Three new Infernus campaign settings: Standard, Intense and Extreme Threat curves.
- Division Stars, Superstars and Superstar sponsorships.
- Scout Assessments were added.
- Every fighter personality can now appear naturally on any class, and there are 4 new death animations.
- PvP and the Ranked Challenge Tower now verify you are on the current game build.
0.50.2 to 0.50.8 (September 15–16) — the fix tail
- Mirage was showing default evolutions instead of its own — fixed in 0.50.2, then patched again for specializations in 0.50.3.
- The relic Favorite button became Lock/Favorite to make its state clearer.
- Gold offers increased for division stars and well-performing fighters; Gold and Renown now display with their currency colours.
- Swapping a fighter from Active to Subs used the wrong slot — fixed.
- Fixed a crash specific to older Windows versions, plus two crashes at the end of a season in 0.50.5.
- Saves stuck in “End of season” rewards after the All-star match were fixed in 0.50.7, then fixed again in 0.50.8 for the remaining cases. The developer is asking for save files from anyone still affected.
- Scout Assessment improvements, Roster sprite/card selection now saved, market confirmation panel and offer clarity, colourblind mode improvements.
0.50.9 (September 17) — Mirage buffed, summons and archers up
- Anchor images now copy attacks for 50% damage — the anchor mechanic was reworked because it felt underwhelming.
- Mirage Crosscut, Spatial Stitch and similar abilities no longer consume the anchor.
- Recall now swaps your position with the anchor instead of consuming it.
- Summons get 30% base stats from their summoner, up from 20%. This mostly affects Necromancer, Warlock and Hunter.
- Archer general arrow damage and starting PWR increased by 10%.
- All 23 Named Leaders can now appear as opponents in the 1v1 Champions Tournament, except any already on your team.
- New tactics and formations for Infernus AI teams.
- Fixes: missing or generic impact effects on Megameteor, Hammerfall and Hammer of Heaven; an Ice Block cooldown loop (Cascade Reset now respects Refresher’s 7.5-second minimum cooldown, which stops repeated invulnerability cycles with Frozen Heart); Gravity Well and Black Hole drifting when you changed your aim — their pull, visuals and final explosion now stay at the original cast location; Legendary Relics repeatedly offering the same item in the Market, especially in older campaigns; Draft Mode overflowing on widescreen and low-height resolutions.
What this means for older advice: the PvP build-check means a stale client cannot enter ranked play. Anything written about the anchor mechanic before September 17 is describing the pre-rework version, and the summon-stat change is a straight buff for Necromancer, Warlock and Hunter builds.
0.51.1 — Ranked ladders, four divisions, new relics (September 18)
Saves migrate. You do not need a new campaign.
- Challenge Tower now has two independent ladders: Competitive and Eternal.
- Competitive normalizes every fighter to level 100 with balanced class stats, full abilities and standardized Relics. Kits, evolutions and the one-Champion limit stay. Fresh Elo starts at 1,500.
- Eternal keeps your original progression, builds, records and existing Elo.
- Divisions dropped from 6 to 4. Campaigns begin in Division IV. XP and income were retuned for the shorter climb.
- About 20 new relics (including a cast-reduction family), expanded Codex ability evolutions, better Scout info, widescreen support, Italian and Turkish localizations.
- 0.51.2 / 0.51.3 after that are battle-result and hub-loading fixes, not new modes.
0.51.4 — Challenge Tower polish, Mirage buff, friendly-fire rating (September 19)
A polish hotfix rather than a rules change.
- Challenge Tower UI/UX was improved. The announcement does not list individual screens, so treat the layout you see in game as the current one.
- Shields and barriers now display correctly on overhead health bars, which matters when you are judging whether a fighter is still protected.
- Mirage’s starting power is up 10%, with several anchor fixes in the same patch.
- The friendly-fire rating penalty now scales with the total damage dealt, so a large accidental hit costs less rating than before instead of a flat deduction.
- Korean translation was improved and missing keys were added.
0.51.2 and 0.51.3, released just before it, were battle-result and hub-loading fixes.
0.52.4 — Navigation keybinds and small fixes (September 22)
- Configurable Navigation keybinds for the campaign hub, defaulting to F1–F10.
- The Tactics panel saves “Advanced settings” again.
- A control/autobattle option was added for the 5v5 practice matches.
- Training or Academy can now be selected directly from the right-click context menu.
0.52.5 — Healer AI, offers and battle controls (September 22)
- AI healer recognition fixed: the AI was not treating Ember priest, Crusaders, Matriarchs and Stormhorns as proper healers when they had a support/heal ability.
- Rival-team offers fixed. The previous patch’s improvements had made the AI too conservative with its gold.
- Battle speed controls improved, and hovering a Personality now shows its base mistake chance.
- Underused ability families buffed, including Mortal Strike variants, now an 80% healing reduction instead of 50%.
0.60.1 — Bladedancer and the Hall of Legends (September 24)
The one-month anniversary patch, and the biggest content drop since 0.40.1.
Major features
- New class: Bladedancer — a mobile dark elf katana duelist.
- Hall of Legends — handcrafted late-game PvE challenges with multiple difficulties, unique rewards and global rankings based on speed and casualties. Accessible from the beginning, but built as a test: one challenge pits you against all three bosses of the Iron Gate at once, another against the Ug Horde with every Orc champion united (Ug Shatup, Ug Dunath, Ug Zormak, Kadooty, Goom Goom and more). Teams of eight.
- Two new eight-fighter class FFA tournaments in the Tournament Center, rewarding Renown.
- Club Staff system and Staff Market — hire, assign, reserve, list and sell permanent employees with randomized efficiency and appearance. Specialties: Medic, Scout, Trainer, Captain Teacher, Treasure Hunter, Legendary Expert, Shiny Catcher. Club House upgrades unlock up to five slots.
- Recoil mechanic — Overrail, Ice Bomb, Reaper Missile Barrage, Crossbowman skills and others now push their caster backward, with charge scaling where applicable.
- Chaos Thunder 2+2 vs 2+2 and 3+3 vs 3+3 now rotate allies across three rounds: each club partners with every ally once and earns its own points, and tied leaders enter an FFA tiebreaker.
- CODEX screenshots for every Evolution, Japanese localization in beta, and a major Russian and Turkish rewrite by community members.
Economy and market
- Gold rewards from every chest increased by 50%, and match income significantly increased.
- Division IV–I victories now award 750 / 1,000 / 1,250 / 1,500 gold; draws 500 and defeats 300.
- Regular offer frequency restored while keeping the improved high-value offers; markets restock at least three Rare and two Legendary Relics every two weeks.
- Fighter details and previews now show Level 1 stats.
AI, performance and UI
- Improved AI profiles for better ability usage; AI now uses true channeled ranges; fixed Tactics persistence, live Infernus orders and Follow + Behind retreats; the Legacy Tactics menu is complete.
- Reduced repeated AI, combat-resource and relic-scoring work; Next Match reopening cut from roughly 800 ms to 20 ms; more late-game optimization.
- Relics support right-click equip/removal; role tags added to the fighter details panel; improved Overview tab and feed; new loading screen panels; improved Calendar and New campaign scenes; new Practice 5v5 UI.
Balance
- Archer: basic projectile speed increased from 800 to 1,000.
- Goblin Archer: base movement speed 200 → 240 (+20%) and slingshot projectile speed 800 → 1,000.
- Further buffs to underused classes ship with the same patch.
0.60.2 — Unranked Competitive and Mirage buffs (September 25)
- Unranked Competitive button restored: fight with balanced fighters against friends’ teams.
- New Roster button to clear Academy and Training assignments.
- Mirage offensive abilities buffed ~15%. Twin Reflection afterimages now deal 55% damage. Mirrored Riposte 30 → 35.
- Sentinel basic attack 18 → 20; Berserker basic attack 20 → 18.
- Blizzard projectiles 10 → 9; Everwinter 12 → 11.
- Tournament Center cooldown 2 → 4 weeks.
- Chaos Thunder AI now seeks an uncontested opponent instead of permanently focusing the same team.
- Staff (Shiny Catcher and others) now use decimal rolls (example: 2.5/5000 shiny bonus).
- Fixes: post-match Gold/Renown shown before difficulty scaling; Steam achievements ignoring career totals from sold fighters; rotating class tournaments picking fighters far above the round level.
0.60.3 — Controller in Roster (September 25)
- Controller works in the Roster tab again.
- Lightning Orb VFX improved; Academy panel enlarged so it no longer needs to scroll.
0.60.4 — Mirror Bolt (September 25)
- New Uncommon Mirage ability: Mirror Bolt. Active Anchors fire an additional bolt without being consumed.
- Arcane Torpedo projectile and energy trail redesigned.
- Melee pathfinding around allied fighters fixed (Templar no longer stuck without attacking).
- Resurrection tooltips now combine ability level with Quick Return; HP restored and cooldown show real decimal values.
0.60.5 — Hall of Legends leaderboards (September 26)
- Online guards added to Hall of Legends leaderboards.
What to recheck on this site
- Classes hub — 0.35.1 added Rockscar; 0.40.1 added Warlock and Timesworn; 0.41.1 added Railcaster. 0.36.1 still owns high-PWR scaling. Pre-0.40 class lists are incomplete.
- How to Win — if you keep losing ranked, check the one-per-class composition rule before rebuilding the whole roster.
- Challenge Tower — stacking one class is no longer a legal ranked team. Named Leaders cannot enter the Tower. Use Ranked Exhibition while you rebuild.
- Market / relics — duplicate relics, legendary cap 5 (8 during 8v8 League matches since 0.80.3), roster HQ up to 50, Active Relics that can replace a skill, and relic sort grouping rarity → type → roll.
- Unranked PvP — 0.40.7 Unranked Tower by average level and season; 0.40.8 falls back to average power. Ranked still uses the 0.36.1 one-per-class rule.
- Autobattle vs control — captain bonuses now scale with difficulty and never apply in PvP.
- Old class stats — 0.33.11 renamed Attack to Power; 0.36.1 then changed how PWR above 600 converts into damage.
- Store wording — the rewritten Steam description no longer lists class, Champion, ability or relic counts. Do not quote those figures as the current store page.
0.61.1 - 0.61.4 - Season Modifiers (September 29)
0.61.1 is the patch that introduced Season Modifiers, plus:
- 14 new Shiny styles, Chaos Thunder 8v8, reworked relic management, new Staff specializations, and expanded character customization (the developer notes you no longer have to field a bald Voidfist).
- A large class balance pass across HP, Power, abilities and resource regeneration, with smarter AI, improved controls and UI polish.
- Combat performance improvements, which matters because 8v8 with modifiers is the heaviest thing in the game.
The rest of the day was fixes:
- 0.61.2 - roster custom sort fixed; a few requested emblems added.
- 0.61.3 - old campaigns could no longer change difficulty (fixed); 8v8 best-of-five could end without a 3-0 scoreline (fixed).
- 0.61.4 - missing Season Modifier translations; 8v8 five-relic limit; injuries that recovered twice per league week.
0.62.1 - 19 new Champions (October 3)
The newest classes had no Champion yet, so this patch added 19: Alexander the Hedonist, Alpha Esther, Alpha Rogus, Beeu, Big Al, Boom Spankcrackle, Brunt, Domingo, Gaia the Earth Mother, Gura Caine, Hugi, Kokutenko, Manny, Nosrefey, Oximofe, Scrubby, The Odd Man, Vodakhun the Crimson Horizon and Zero the Infernal Knight. They bring hybrid builds and some exclusive abilities, appear gradually on ongoing saves, and are available immediately in Champion mode.
Also in 0.62.1:
- Bladedancer AI uses Blade Pirouette, Midnight Draw and Whirlwind Strike more reliably at close range.
- Shiny Catcher staff members now provide the best Shiny-fighter chance at 5.5/5000, above the 5/5000 of the best regular Catchers; existing staff were updated automatically.
- Spectated League and Cup matches apply campaign difficulty modifiers to both AI clubs equally - which is what makes spectating a fair read on your own difficulty.
- Ability tooltips now show costs after relic reductions; Till Death empowers the first three direct hits including basic attacks; scouting gives a better mix of high and low level fighters.
- Cup progression recovery was improved after interrupted or corrupted tournaments.
- Fixed: Marathoner’s Chain stamina reduction; Gura Caine’s Second Life resurrection lifecycle and its interaction with Nicole’s Ankh; Prismatic Rail Trinity evolutions and short-range beam visuals; Headbutt’s Bull Rush evolution lasting too long after its speed increase; Gravity Well and Inner Kinesis cleanup during scene transitions; and missing or incorrect animation clips on several new Champions.
0.70.1–0.70.3 — Shockmender, Season Modifiers and save hardening (October 9–10)
0.70.1 (October 9) added the Shockmender class — a mid-range electric Support built around Triage, Charge management and emergency intervention — alongside a Painted Combat Effects style option, 16 new Season Modifiers, 10 new Relics (6 Rare, 4 Legendary) and the rule change that matters most in practice: each fighter can now be revived a maximum of 2 times per round across all resurrection sources.
0.70.2 (October 9) made Crash Cart mobile — it now moves toward wounded allies and follows the Shockmender when nobody needs healing — and let relevant Named Champions learn the new class abilities (Megawall, Starspray Turret, Humiliatin’, Super Railcasterayin, Consecrated Ground, Hobbling Cut), with better AI profiles for Aster, Peshols and Choki.
0.70.3 (October 10) is a save-reliability patch with a few extras:
- A new Wide Scrollbars option for touchscreens and Steam Deck; localization completed for the new classes across all supported languages.
- Astralwings’ Gravity Well casting range fixed; Hunter’s base PWR 10 → 11; Shockmender’s Paddle zap 3% → 2.5%.
- Leaving a campaign now verifies the last save succeeded before returning to the Main Menu — if saving fails, the game stays in the campaign and shows an error.
- Failed autosaves stay queued and retry later; a damaged older autosave backup can no longer block current progress from saving; autosaves and Manual Saves are isolated so neither can overwrite a manual slot.
0.80.1 — Hellforged, Hall of Legends Tier II and the 8v8 League (October 16)
The biggest drop since 0.60.1 — and the first patch shipped through a closed beta first.
Major features
- New class: Hellforged — a durable fire battlemage that sacrifices HP to cast explosive abilities, and every HP sacrifice also releases a fire nova.
- Hall of Legends Tier II — six extreme endgame challenges for teams of eight against Level 100 rivals. Each challenge now has separate tier selection and independent progression, persistent chests awarded once per challenge across Threat levels, and its own difficulty curve. Rewards run from Gold and Renown to Rare and Legendary Relic selections, ending in a choice of three Legendary Relics for The Last Alliance. Existing victories and collected rewards carry over.
- 8v8 League replaces the Mid-Season Cup in the updated campaign calendar; existing campaigns switch to the new schedule at the start of their next season.
- Advanced Tactics adds per-ability Skill Priority (Low / Normal / High — a weighting boost, not a hard override) plus Friendly Fire and AOE settings for specific skills.
- Recurring Special Event registration in Weeks 5, 13 and 21 — pick one of two free tournament offers to play the following week.
- New spell VFX and explosions, and UI polish across several screens.
Academy
- The Time Chamber can train a fighter directly to Level 20 for a clearly displayed Gold cost, keeping every earned skill, upgrade, specialization and stat choice for you to assign.
- After a Rebirth, fighters can recover to Level 20 for free while keeping those choices; Reborn Momentum keeps boosting XP until they reach their former level.
- Academy matches autoplay when at least three fighters are assigned.
Balance and AI
- Healing abilities now combine % HP scaling with the caster’s Power, and the percentage heals were rebalanced around it.
- Shockmender rebalanced across healing, damage, revival strength, cooldowns and resource costs — the developer’s own summary: “I’m sorry Shockmender but you were too OP”.
- Rival clubs now scout your previous lineup and adapt their tactics to campaign difficulty; AI clubs rotate on Form and make better Market decisions.
Notable fixes
- Delayed effects (Charge, Earth Spike, Echo Fireball, Glacial Surge, Leap Smash) no longer keep firing after their caster leaves battle; Fire Barrier projectiles no longer fail when their owner disappears.
- Chain Heal and Choir of Whispers no longer stop when a previous target disappears; Fear no longer tries to affect stationary summoned devices.
- Railcaster targeting, Grab and Throw with a despawned summon, Battle Shout with attack-triggered Relics, and several Hall and Market issues fixed.
0.80.2–0.81.2 — the fix tail (October 16)
Six hotfixes followed within hours, ending the day at 0.81.2:
- 0.80.2 — fixed a black screen when continuing a previous-version campaign that had been saved during an 8v8 League week; fixed Challenge Tower team submission failing with “roster may contain only one squad leader” when the lineup included a Champion or another fighter signed from an AI club.
- 0.80.3 — legendary relic limit raised from 5 to 8 in 8v8 League matches.
- 0.80.4 — fixed a new-form loss inconsistency and reversed Market price sorting; Hall of Legends relic rewards are now Shiny.
- 0.80.5 — improved summoning skill tooltips; more Hellforged customization (helmets, for example); fixed two-line text overflow (Time Chamber buttons) and clarified the new red/green stat button.
- 0.81.1 — expanded Shift tooltips for abilities, Relics and fighter stats; fixed the 8v8 League and Chaos Thunder HUDs not showing all eight fighters, and Champions / class FFA only showing some opponents; Hammer Beam is now available to both Templar and Matriarch, with AI support; small UI and localization fixes.
- 0.81.2 — fixed clicking the Menu button making the mouse cursor invisible.
0.81.3 and the October 17 patches (October 17)
0.81.3 (October 17) rebalanced Infernus Threat toward offensive pressure: less bonus health, healing and shields, but more damage across all Threat levels, plus sharper enemy accuracy and stronger coordinated focus fire and combo follow-ups. The developer’s stated goal is shorter, more dangerous battles with fewer damage sponges. Also in 0.81.3:
- Chaos Thunder cups that could not be reached through the Tournament Center in some campaigns are fixed.
- The DEF multiplier rose from x0.75 to x1 for some melee DPS roles, including Frost Knight, Halberdier and Sentinel.
- The Shift tooltips expanded in 0.81.1 now also cover summon limits and stats; several abilities got improved VFX; minor localization fixes.
Two more patches followed the same day:
- Injuries and change personality — form loss was removed from optional content such as Iron Gate and Chaos Thunder cups; a bug that made rival teams less likely to suffer injuries than the player is fixed; a new Time Chamber button spends Development Tomes to change a fighter’s Personality; and Academy matches now grant EXP even when you lose, simulated or played yourself.
- Save backup/restore hotfix — after a few players reported saves disappearing when starting new or ongoing campaigns, the developer added a “Restore campaign” button to keep it from happening again. He states every patch stays save-compatible, and that future patches will first go to the Closed and then Open beta branches.
Last verified: 2026-10-19 against the official Steam announcement feed (newest playable patch 0.81.3).
Q&A
What changed the most in the Eslabong 0.33 patches?
For the current build the biggest changes are recent: the Hellforged class plus Hall of Legends Tier II and the new 8v8 League (0.80.1), the Shockmender class plus 16 Season Modifiers and the two-revives-per-round limit (0.70.1), 19 new Champions (0.62.1), and Season Modifiers arriving in 0.61.1. The August changes it used to name — the Academy Rework, the 0.33 tactics defaults, the melee HP pass and the Power rename — are documented in the patch archive.
Did the class balance pass affect every class?
The 0.33.7 pass raised melee HP 15% overall and touched most classes; it now sits in the archive because later patches rebalanced the same values again. The most recent balance work is the 0.80.1 pass that reworked healing (healing abilities now scale with % HP plus caster Power) and rebalanced Shockmender.
Is the challenge tower available now?
The first version of the Challenge Tower watcher was added in 0.33.6. The tower itself existed at release; this patch improved its tracking.
What is the newest Eslabong patch?
At this page's last check (October 19, 2026) the newest numbered patch is **0.81.3 (October 17)** — the Infernus Threat rebalance and a Chaos Thunder fix — and **two more patches followed the same day**: one for injuries, form loss and the Time Chamber personality change, and one adding save backup/restore. The big content patch remains **0.80.1** (October 16) — the Hellforged class, Hall of Legends Tier II and the 8v8 League.
How often does Eslabong get patched now?
The developer stated on September 4 that the near-daily pace was specific to launch week, and that balance and content patches now ship roughly weekly, with critical fixes released as needed — the 0.80.1 content drop on October 16 was followed by six hotfixes the same day (0.80.2–0.81.2), and October 17 brought three more patches (0.81.3 plus two).
Did any patch wipe saves?
No patch has forced a restart — the developer’s rule is that every patch stays save-compatible. The October 17 hotfix added a **“Restore campaign” button** after a few players reported saves disappearing when starting new or ongoing campaigns; the developer apologised for anyone affected and says he hopes it is the last critical fix of this kind.
